This is a damn fine expression of what we love about coffee from Bruselas. Beautiful balance and sweetness.

This fine drop was sourced by our friends at Caravela who work predominantly in Colombia and the Central American countries. Year after year we taste delicious coffees through these guys and appreciate their amazing work in this part of the world. In fact we should all appreciate their work as it is responsible for this tasty balanced cup of deliciousness!

This Lot comprises coffee grown by 21 smallholders around Bruselas with farms as high as 1900masl. Coffee is grown, processed and dried on individual farms before being prepared and combined with other farmers coffee based on cup quality and consistency. Caravela work closely with the farmers assisting with the consistency of processing and overall quality. Through working with farmers at origin and with roasters here in Australia and in the USA, Caravela can purchase coffee at a premium price. In this case over 50% higher than fair-trade pricing and closer to 100% above the C price. This is good news.
