Aash is a privately owned washing station near the village of Werka in the West Arsi Zone of Ethiopia. It produces around 1 million kilos of coffee cherry each year coming from around 750 independent of the surrounding region. The washing station sits at 1900masl in an area with ample rainfall , hot days and cool nights. Perfect for coffee production.

This is a natural processed coffee meaning that the picked coffee cherries remain as whole fruit for the drying stage before being pulped and washed to have the fruity outer layers removed. This is a very specific method which requires a lot of attention and hands on labour.

This is a sweet and clean Natural coffee with a lot of character and depth. It is fruity upfront with a syrupy body, mild acidity and a lingering chocolatey flavour. Enjoy as filter or espresso!
